I taught Linguistics while at Michigan State University and also tutored undergraduates for other linguistics classes. I also worked as a teacher's assistant for an English teacher in Berlin. I have a fairly extensive education that ranges from the degrees mentioned above in English, German, and Linguistics to history (focused mainly on American and European history) and classes for medical school (chemistry, biology, statistics).

Hobbies

I love to listen to and play music (though I would not say my ability on the guitar is good enough to try to teach anyone). Most of the music I listen to falls into the "indie" genre, though that umbrella seems to include everything from folk music to hard rock these days. I am a cinema buff who is just as comfortable talking about Citizen Kane as I am the latest Marvel Superhero film. I also like to write and travel, though the traveling has been a bit less lately due to medical school obligations.
