I am currently studying management at Creighton University, with plans to continue on to dental school. In my own experiences as a student, I have sometimes encountered obstacles that I didn't think I could overcome, but my hard work always paid off. My priority when tutoring is to instill confidence in my students and to make learning easier. My confidence-boosting approach is to improve the student's overall study skills, analytical reasoning, and strategies for solving problems. Before starting, I look at the material we are going to work on and analyze where the difficulties lie so that we can work together on the parts that need improvement. As experience has shown, everyone learns in their own way, so I focus on developing a personalized strategy that will be effective for each student. My goal is for both the tutor and the student to enjoy the process.My tutoring experience ranges from pre-school to college levels. I enjoy all of them. The subjects I enjoy most are math, biology, and chemistry. However, I can tutor reading, writing, literature, and test prep, as well.In my free time, I spend as much time outdoors as possible. I especially like to hike and surf.
