Education

I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BA in Speech. I've been a substitute school teacher in Omaha's parochial school system for about six years and have been working for about that same length of time with the med students at UNMC to help them diagnose and deal with medical problems.

Experience

I have been a private tutor in English for about six years, and I enjoy working one-on-one with the students. I was fortunate in growing up in a home where both parents were college educated, and good English was always spoken in our home. I'm very much a word person: I can conjugate a verb, but don't ask me to solve an algebraic equation.
