As an undergraduate, I taught French 101 for two semesters at Brigham Young University. This class was very rigorous, and students learned present, future, and even past verb tenses within less than four months. I qualified for this job with a 3.84 overall GPA, receiving high marks in my French classes. I am certified according to the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages as an Advanced Mid speaker. My education at Brigham Young University was financed mostly by a four year, full-tuition scholarship that I received. This was awarded in part because of my ACT score of 33. I scored a perfect 36 on the English portion and can assist in grammar. Going on a study abroad to Paris, France was one of the best experiences of my life! Living with a native family, using their metro system, and discovering the unbeatable cuisine forever captured my love for France. I'm convinced it's the language of the gods and I want to share it with others! I have played the piano since I was nine and love to teach. I have had a youth student before and any beginner students, whether children or adult, would be welcome.
