My name is Demetria and I am elementary teacher that has over 13 years of teaching experience and 17 years of experience working with children. I have taught 3rd grade for two years, 5th grade for eight years, and 6th grade for two years. In addition, I have a Master's Degree from Concordia University in Education Administration. I can provide tutoring services in the subject areas of elementary reading and writing. I instruct my students based on individual student needs and learning styles. I make every effort to create a rapport with my students that will allow them to feel comfortable and build confidence in their own aptitude through the support and encouragement I provide. With this, I make the learning process fun and meaningful, which in most cases yields the greatest results.
