I am attending Creighton University School of Medicine, which is located in Omaha, NE. I received a BS in biology with a minor in Spanish at Rockhurst University. During my years at Rockhurst, I was a tutor in their Learning Center. The main subject that I provided assistance for was science: biology, physics, organic chemistry, microbiology, and chemistry. Between the subjects that I've tutored, I favor biology. I find the subject to be highly intriguing and practical. My approach to tutoring starts with the student's attitude towards the subject. I believe that a negative attitude will translate into their work. Once that is addressed, a student's hard work and drive will pave the rest of the way to academic success. This is what I help students develop, along with an understanding of the concepts. Outside of learning and tutoring, I like to exercise and play volleyball. Other things I enjoy are reading and spending time with my friends.
