I'm a native French-speaker born in Gabon, though I currently live in Omaha, Nebraska. I am currently enrolled in the American Public University System to achieve my bachelor's in international relations concentrating on African studies. I discovered an interest in American studies and intend to study for my masters after completing this degree. I've been tutoring students in languages since I was in high school. My main focuses are English and French, both course-related and conversational. I am fluent in German and Spanish as well. I enjoy working with students on their language skills. My tutoring style is immersive and personalized. When I first meet a student, I analyze their ability level, learning style, personality, and language goals to develop a lesson plan that puts them on the right course. I can help students taking AP classes in Spanish language and culture, as well as French, English, and German. I believe that anyone can learn languages if they have the right support to do so. Through encouragement, creativity, and patience, I work with each student to help them thoroughly understand the language they are learning. Outside of tutoring students, I am a big fan of the Huskers. I enjoy learning and studying languages, writing, reading, and playing soccer.
